The Cass County tax lien auction is held on the fourth Monday in August beginning at 10 a.m.
Cass County Missouri follows Chapter 140 of the Revised Statues of Missouri (RSMo.) for their county tax foreclosure process. It is not a mortgage foreclosure sale; the county sells tax liens on properties for taxes due. Winning bidders are responsible for complying with statutory procedures before obtaining a deed for the property. You should begin the process in March of the year following the sale. Title Bridge can help you fulfill your statutory requirements if you contact us.
Before bidding on these or any tax liens you should do research and may contact us with any questions.
As with most counties, all bidders must pre-register before the sale. You can register at:
Cass County Collector’s Office
2725 Cantrell Rd Harrisonville, MO
The Cass County Collector’s office will only accept payment from successful bidders on the day of the sale in the form of Cashier’s Check, Cash, Money Order or Credit Cards. (Fees Applicable if cards are used).
